New to the SBR world, and I have a question on bullet weight. What would be the ideal weight for my rifle. Colt 11.5 barrel 1:7 twist, Colt full auto bolt, buffer and spring out of a Stag model 3. Generally I run the run of the mill M855 ammo. Not looking for a long distance rifle. I'm happy with 50 meters or so.

Thank you for any advice.

What are you doing with it?

Best ballistic results come from 77 OTM Noslers or Sierras

Home defense, Truck gun. General go to gun. Nothing real specific.

The heavier bullets will stabilize best with that short, fast barrel. >70 grain will be your best bet.
