I just got back my stamp for my 9mm ar, it is a cmmg lower (dedicated) with a used gemtech talon upper with the Gemtech trinity multimount. Problem is every second to third shot the spent casing is not fully ejected and the bolt then crushes the case while trying to send the next round into battery. The case actually gets crushed with the primer end of the cartridge on the outside while the spent end is facing into the receiver. I contacted the bastard who put the gun together and he tells me I now need a different buffer and spring, and that the gun test fired fine. Is there anyone who can guide me to the parts I need, any help would be great because the manufacturer is really dicking me around. Thanks

Your ejector needs tweaking.

There a thread on it around here somewhere, but right now I'm too lazy to look for it.

Was gonna suggest the same thing. The ejector should ride damn close to the carrier, to the point they almost touch. Take the upper off and slide the BCG by hand and see where the ejector is at. Bend the ejector over to where it should be. A pair of pliers and a gentle hand should fix your problem.

What bolt, buffer, and buffer spring are you using?  Unless you got a bad one, the CMMG lower should have an ejector that's good to go.
