So, I have a big series of Cerakote projects on my horizon. It's gonna be a bear so I want to make things as easy as possible. When doing just one gun, it isn't a big deal to hobby wire and coat hanger parts....but in this case I want to have VERY firm control of some of the parts I am painting as they are for a couple of special projects that I want to look STELLAR. How do you guys fixture up frames and slides so that they are stable and easy to turn as you paint? I've been thinking of making a gimble so that I can turn and fix frames and slides ( which often overpower coat hanger wire and get floppy, which makes it really hard to control and paint safely ) and turn them and position them at my leisure. Anyone got any good tips? Thanks, guys!!! |
