Looking for a bulk source of the D shaped retainer springs used on Benelli, Remington, etc. trigger group pins. Searching MSC, Enco, Fastenall, MacMasters, etc turns up nothing (perhaps I am using the wrong terminology in my search).

I know you can get these spring one at a time (for $4 plus) from Brownells, Numrich, etc. but it sure looks like a generic item that might sell for $5-10 per 100 if you find the right source.

Try wolff gunsprings

You could make a batch of them without too much trouble.

My first stop would be to contact Remington and see what a bulk buy would cost.

My second stop would be the same question to Brownell's.

These are a specialty gun part and it's very unlikely any other source is going to have a generic D-clip that is going to fit the application.

I really expected to find this type of fastener used in some other application but that has not been the case. I have called every spring manufacturer (gun spring and otherwise) I could look up and none make this particular spring. Perhaps Benelli and Remington each have one guy setting in the back corner making the spring for them  The best deal I found was from a local spring company that can make up a batch for just a few coins each.... but with a 2000 piece minimum. I can buy all the OEM parts I'll need for spares and repairs for that kind of up front cost.
