I took apart my wifes p230 cleaned the heck out of it put it back together than found one of those damn "Extra Parts" Maybe I was distracted teaching my almost 7 year old daughter how to clean a pistol :)
My bad, some how the decocking spring came out and I do not know how it goes back in. I have the Armorers Manual and still cannot figure it out. I imagine if I disassemble it completely then follow the reassembly I could do it but I do not have the proper tools Punches and such. Does anyone have any links to vids or detailed instructions how to get it back into place while everything else is in place.. I never took it that far apart before and did not see it pop out so I do not know where it goes. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If all else fails I guess I'll have to go get the tools to totally break it down and try from there. The good thing is it sure is clean now :) I sure hope someone can explain or show me how to get in back into place without going through all the hassle Thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to help.. On a side note does anyone know where I can find some sort of really really small metal tooth brush type tool for getting into tiny places that have corrosion from never being broken down and cleaned? The standard metal tooth brush brushes are about 10 times the size I need. Any links or suggestions would be great, Mike |
