I have a Webley Mark VI, if cycled double action, seems to work well, functions smoothly and cylinder seems to lock in place nicely. When cycled single action, it's a no go. The hammer doesn't lock back, the trigger binds up. I can kinda mess with the trigger and hammer and free it up but that's it. Any suggestions of what to look at on this?

The Webley's lockwork is very much like that of the Colt Python.

Recently American Gunsmith Institute had two articles on the Webley. I don't have those articles in front of me right now, so I've no parts diagram to study.
