[ARCHIVED THREAD] - High Standard MK11

I have a High Standard MK11 that by dry firing have have broken the firing pin! Do you think the fiiring spring was weak and caused this or should I just but a new firing pin?

I'm no gunsmith, but I'll take a crack at this one anyway.

If you broke the firing pin, yes you should buy a new firing pin. You might also get a new firing pin spring.

If you're replacing the firing pin, yes it would be prudent to replace the firing pin spring also.

And considering the low prices for these parts at Gun parts co, you can go the the fun store and get some snap caps.
