I have had a pair of "Rockwell Accessories" tool boxes in my shop for several years and I need to replace at least one of them.
They are 40" high, 28.5" wide, 27.5" deep, with 9 roller bearing drawers. The usual places, i.e., Enco, Lowes, do not carry anything like these. Does any know where tool boxes of this size can be found? Thank you. |

Have you looked at Sam's? They have had some pretty nice roll arounds lately. The latest MSC catalog I got this week has prices on Kennedy boxes that look pretty good, too. Any idea if those are of the same quality as the older boxes? Kennedy quality seems to be holding up - but prices in the MSC fliers are almost never for the roller drawer slides - only the cheaper folded dovetail slides. For the really good stuff look for Lista, or Stanley Industrial. Another maker which has made great advances is Waterloo There value to price ratio is very good and they have now expanded the product line to include fixed place tool storage units. I will likely be choosing Waterloo for my machine shop expansion. I have primarily Kennedy units so far. |
