Hey All,
I assume that this is a repeat topic but couldn't find it.  If so could you please redirect me?!?!

I have a Post-Ban AR that I needed to remove the gas block on.  I don't want to cut it so the only other option is to remove the suppressor.  Don't know how to remove any of it.   Here are some pics for reference.  Thanks for any and all help!

The pins on the gas block can driven out with a punch. However, the gas block will not fit over that muzzle brake. It is permanently attached to meet the 16" barrel length requirement, so the front sight base/gas block must be cut to be removed. Whats the plan with removing the gas block?

Front site is coming up too far on the scope that I'm looking at.  I want to replace it with a pop up front site/gas block.

If you do not want to remove the flash hider / muzzle brake you will have to cut the current front sight. Then you can install a clamp on gas bock / front sight. Here is one example of the clamp on block.

If you want to use a front sight / gas block that slips over the barrel that flash hider will have to come off and will probably be destroyed in the process.

What is your barrel length?

That spot that you circled on the muzzle brake is the spot weld holding the cross pin in.

You will need to cut, grind, or file the weld off, to drive out the pin, in order to remove the muzzle brake.  Once you get that off, you can remove your FSB and put a gas block on.

But you will need to replace the muzzle brake when all said and done.
