i attempted to remove the castle nut on my AR today using the dpms multi tool. i won't call the tool a pos, but it sucks at doing that particular job. let's just say i have a Spikes stock wrench and new castle nut enroute.

I pick up EVERY one of those pin-spanners and castle nut wrenches that I find at pawn shops , garage sales etc . 
I've accumulated quite a nice selection over the years ( not including all the itty-bitty ones I've accumulated for micrometer spindles) The one I circled is what I use on those castle nuts , I have a DPMS multi tool , but hardly use it.
