Ive got a mosin nagant that I am putting 2 bedding pillars in (one for front and one for the back) and have bored out the holes in which they will be placed.
My question is when doing this....when attaching the upper reciever to the lower reciever with the pillars floating over the screw......do i need to adhere the pillars to the stock of the gun inside the holes that i bored out? or do i just drop em in over the screws and tighten er' up? Ive never really installed bedding pillars before but theres 5000 how-to's all over the internet on how to do it, I just want to make sure im dotting all my I's and crossing all my T's before I get going. |
