I was browsing their catalog and was wondering if anyone here has any experience with their in house branded stuff, TTC. I'm not talking about indicators or true precision instruments, but for instance their arbor press. The 3-ton model weighs more than both the Jet ( which I won't buy ) and the Dake, while costing much less. I realize you get what you pay for, but in an arbor press will I see a diff? Or should I just save/wait to find a used Dake? |

I purchased an Enco arbor press about 10 years ago and it works just fine. I like the fact that you can adjust the play on the ram. I also like the ratcheting mechanism for the handle. The Dake that I used to use did not have the ratcheting mech, so it was hard to pull at certain heights.
ETA: I used to use Traverse a lot. I haven't ordered from them in a couple years now. |
