I'm sure most of y'all have seen my tactical lever gun thread. I've been working on a few mold designs for a sidesaddle. My current design is nearly complete but I have a problem. The casting resin has a short shelf life and I need to use up the rest of the resin soon. I have about 1.5lbs left. Only a couple of ounces are need for the sidesaddle. I'm looking for ideas for what to make with the rest of it. I'm going to make some soft vise jaws but that won't take much. Any gun or shop related ideas?

How about a bench block custom molded to fit a particular gun so it is held it on three sides?  Maybe use hockey pucks for foundations.

Vise jaws.

Tool holders.

Handgun grips.

Vice jaws molded using a rifle barrel for an inside mandrel.

Pads molded onto pliers or vise grips.

How about a side saddle for a rifle with a golf ball launcher?

Rifle with a golfball launcher? I love it. I wonder if there are there any golf courses that would allow the use of such an item.

I finished the sidesaddle and vise jaw mold today. I'm also going to repair a dead blow hammer and make a soft face for an 8oz ball peen hammer.

A golf ball launcher would make an excellent assassination weapon.  I can see Super Horatio now, head canted as he whips off those sunglasses, "but the nearest golf course is sixteen miles away..."
