The SSSVAR61 (A 3d printed Super Safe VZ61 design) does what we are both saying; it has a trip bar that floats, the back half trips the super safety lever and the timing is based on pulling the trip bar forward with the bolt. But the AR9 is a jumpy primitive unpleasant gun that jumps from 5 gr of gunpowder more than an AR15 does with 25 gr of gunpowder |

Originally Posted By RacingOrange: How's the felt recoil on a Stribog 9mm PCC? Especially compared to an AR9 or the SP5 There is no comparison the SP5 has less felt recoil then the SP9a3. Even the SP5k has less recoil than the SP9a3. My advise is to get both lol! The proven iconic design might be considered "dated" but its still far more proven, more reliable and a hell of alot of fun to shoot. Dont get me wrong the Stribog has some great features and is fun to shoot, just not on the same level and keep in mind there is not another Stribog out there that shoots as soft as mine, but still EVERYONE should own both. Anytime I let someone shoot my PCC's they always go back to my 5k. If money is an issue though I get it so the Bog will do the job. |

Whether those differences are worth the cost of the lower is personal preference. |

Got three Stribog 9 mm mags from PSA and I can’t get the bolt to lock open on an empty mag with the SP9A3. Anyone have this issue? |

The ones of issue are from Palmetto State Armory “made in USA” marked “Stribog” “ Pomona” . These are Global Ordinace manufacture. |

Polishing the feed ramp impacted bolt lock hold on the last round? |

| Does anyone make an end cap with the two spaced 10-32 holes? I've got a Lage 5degree folder I want to install. |

Walked in my FFL yesterday and he had one of the 45 versions he ordered for someone that then said they wanted the 9mm. I have one of the original 9mm versions and haven’t really payed attention to them. Man these things have come a long way. I brought it home with me to mess with. Nothing really to post about it except for damn they have come a long way.

For those of you shooting your Stribog suppressed. CCI Blazer 147 gr are very quiet but I was quite surprised by Federal Syntech 150 gr was noticeably quieter than the 147 gr. Shooting thru a Dead Air Primal with a 9mm end cap. I’ll be trying a Dead Air Wolfman later this month as well as some Hush 165gr rounds. Only issues with the SP9A3 were a couple of failure to feed with the flat nose profile of these rounds. I suspect a little smoothing of the feed ramp will cure this. |

I have a thread in the suppressor forum discussing different sub ammo and how they sound suppressed. |

I’m looking forward to shooting the Hush 160s. |

Started having malfunctions after a few mags from all the unburnt powder. |

I like it, but like the Strike Industries dual folders I have on other guns better. I think they would be pretty awesome on a minibog. |

Just run factory. Most others are too heavy and bulky. Also, factory fits in that unnoticed notch in the front, to stay closed nicely. I bought mine from that Estonia store that has all the other spare parts, including spare 40 degree rolller blocks (and bolt stop springs) |

I use 3 lug adapters. Yeah, the threads are unusually long. You need to get an adapter that has enough internal threading to allow the adapter to reach the shoulder, or use spacers. |

Looks like I need to buy something with a trilug or similar. Ugh. |

Originally Posted By GreatDane: It's a CGS MOD-9SK, direct thread. Looks like I need to buy something with a trilug or similar. Ugh. You don’t have to. Use spacers to fill the gap between the shoulder and end of the suppressor if you want. You can buy a pack of Accuwashers, or they make 1/2x28 spacers that are used mainly for .22 rifles with long threads, but work on anything in that thread pitch. Or, if the alignment is OK, keep it as is. Indexing off the muzzle won’t really hurt anything. |

Might be a dumb question, but is there suppose to be a gap between the upper and lower on a SP10? It looks like the back sits flush but as you move towards the magwell there is enough gap light can get through. Had feeding issues and want to make sure that's not the problem. |

There is a slight gap on my SP45, but remember that you can’t see through to the other side at the rear is because that long lug on the bottom of the upper that the rear takedown pin goes through blocks the view. Look at the width of the gap (seam) itself, not just whether you can see light through it, because there are some areas where you can’t because of the internal structure. |
| I recently found out in a different thread, that GO is selling all the stribog locking blocks so now I am wondering if it is worth getting the 35 degree for my 9mm mini bog in place of the 40 degree that is currently in there? Has anyone swapped out from the 40 to 35 and noticed a difference worth spending the money on it? |

If you are running my 3 stage you should just stick to a 45* You will have the least amount of recoil in that configuration Un suppressed or suppressed. With a 40 or 35 you will gain recoil and you will be solely relying on the secondary spring to do all the work do to the timing of the locker. |

I am running your buffer assembly/setup that you sell along with the 40 degree block in my 9mm minibog. I haven't noticed any issues. Is that a problem? |

The 45* will slow the bolt down sooner than the 40* so if you dont mind a little more recoil you can continue to run the 40*.. Unlike the HBI buffer my 3 stage wont damage the rails when running a 45* because my kit actually shortens the stroke to 9/16" before full compression to 1/2". The secondary spring does the brunt of the work. |

I have a SP10A3 on its way, and it will be Form 1'd as soon as I test it. I am debating the stock options. I have a several pic rail stocks to use once approved, but am considering the Grand Power OEM stock and the Global Ordinance UFS. The OEM one looks fugly, but it is relatively cheap and I see it in use so it must be functional. The UFS looks more substantial and also has adjustable length. I would be interested in inputs based on actual use regarding functionality, robustness, and other practical factors. Thanks in advance. OEM: Attached File UFS Attached File |
