I thought about the OEM stock, but I don’t like the long LOP, plus I don’t like the low comb height. The UFS stock looks a lot like the original version of the F5-ACR stock that I have on my SP45A3. Both the length adjustment and height adjustable cheekpiece work well for me. It is a bit heavier and more expensive than the OEM polymer stock. https://f5mfg.com/product/f5-mfg-f5-acr-stock-for-grand-power-stribog/ ![]() |
I've read more than one post saying Global Ordinance is now carrying the 40° locking block, but I can't find it on their website. I see the 45 and 10 versions, but not the 9. When I search for it, it brings up almost 4,000 results Does anyone have a link to the 9mm 40° locking block?

However, I haven’t seen it on the website since they put up the 10/45 locking blocks and the 9mm 35 degree block. Might be worth contacting them to find out the deal is with the 9mm 40 degree block. Hope they haven’t dropped it. |

They sold through their supply of both, and have removed them from their site now. I imagine they'll get put back up when they restock. |

I ended up ordering both - OEM is relatively cheap (and I will kick myself if they stop importing) and I can always use a pic rail stock. |

The OEM one looks fugly, but it is relatively cheap and I see it in use so it must be functional. The UFS looks more substantial and also has adjustable length. I would be interested in inputs based on actual use regarding functionality, robustness, and other practical factors. Thanks in advance. I like the drop for a lower optic mount. it's very light. |

| Still kinda disappointed with my Stribog SP9A3. I mainly use it to run sub ammo. It has been sent back to G.O. for old recall stuff and I use the nice G.O. mags with the improved feed lips that are supposed to handle flat faced ammo better, and it still jams while running 147gr round nose ammo. About 1-2 per mag will fail to feed and get stuck facing upwards inside while trying to feed. Maybe its worth looking into getting a Lingle or A3 aftermarket lower that uses Scorpion mags to put an end to this mess. Other than that, its my favorite gun to shoot suppressed and all my friends love it too. |

I just picked up a new sp9a3 and installed an AR trigger using your guide. The only thing needed was the press fit brass piece and the spacer washers. 0.2mm same as you needed. Thanks for the help..... This will hold me over until I can get my hands on a Lingle lower. Or until AS Designs beats them to it and I can go straight FRT. |

My trigger is rubbing on the detent housings. |

I just switched out my trigger and put in a cassette trigger from PSA. The 3.5lb match one they make and sell just to hold me over till I get a Lingle Lower. The tail on this one was tight near the safety cam where the detents live. I did a little bit of milling on the inside of my lower and that with my spacer washers worked out perfect. 3.2 lb pull, nice clean break, and short reset. Dammit I wish Lingle Industries would put some more lowers up for sale. Works beautifully. |
| Yeah I have been waiting forever for Lingle to notify me when they have some lowers in. Have a ton of PSA AK-V mags and would like to use them on the Stribog. I just need to set some time aside to thin the trigger in the rear to clear the safety detent housings. |

All men are created equal. All guns are not.
| Just ran a rifle instructor day with some local police and brought the 9A3 with the 40* block, HBI short stroke buffer, YHM R9 and PA SLX 1x prism. The only thing holding the Stribog back is the dang trigger. The rest ran like a champ. Did a lot of distance dueling trees with the rest of the guys shooting 223s. Stupid quiet with my 147 RMR 3.5 gr Titegroup reloads. I really need to fit a better AR trigger group in it. The dang Lingle lowers must make one batch a year since they are never in stock. |

Lingle has released three batches so far this year. A LaRue MBT in Lingle lower makes this gun amazing. |

Well, HK UMP stock latch doesn’t fit the A3Industries adapter. Guess it’s WECSOG time. Attached File Attached File |

| The recall affected serial numbers below GSB3000, and if yours is GSB27XX, then it was definitely in the recall range. It sounds like it’s already been fixed. Was it sold as new and unfired? Seems strange to find a gun that old still brand new. My serial number is over 12000. |

Never fired and sold as new...with a stack of other Stribogs in various configurations. Not a one-off gun show situation. Regular dealer with a big selection of Stribogs. Kind of wondering if the updated bolt was their first attempt at solving the problem and the hollow roll pin came after this was fixed. It is clearly not the original bolt that comes originally given there's no markings or matching serial number. There is the letter "T" engraved/stamped on the top of the bolt. |

Clamped the adapter in scrap wood. Used a metal ruler as spacer, and a shim to set one side of the cut. Attached File Clamped the adapter in scrap wood. Used a metal ruler as spacer to set the other side of the cut. Attached File Attached File Close up detail. Shows that enlarging the slot doesn't look too bad. Lol. Looks better than this picture would indicate. Attached File Hinge looks "odd". Attached File |

The lockup on the UMP looks tighter, but there looks to be similar amount of material to latch into. Attached File Attached File I'm not sure it's worth it to attempt to blend this in. IDK that it would ever look right. Attached File |

| The hollow pin is designed to be a mechanical fuse, like the gas tube in an AR. It is meant to be a failure point to prevent catastrophic failure to other, more expensive bits. If you use a solid pin you run the risk of something else being the breaking point. I would say that if your getting damage to the hollow pin there is a fundamental issue you will want to address instead of replacing with a solid pin. |

For the locking blocks, the way I figure it is you can get by with using a 40 degree block if you are shooting suppressed with normal loads, and maybe you might wanna use a 40 degree if you are shooting unsuppressed +P. For shooting suppressed +P you want a 35 degree. |
