How y'all running a sling on your Scorpion EVOs?

The gun has a dozen sling mounts points, and none of them are particularly good.

I ran a grenade split ring through the front sling tab, and used the rear plate QD socket for a Magpul sling. Worked pretty good until I swapped out for a tailhook with folding adapter.

With the socket on the tailhook itself, I can sling it okay in the open position, but not folded.

The only solution I've seen is a QD adapter for the rear loop on the upper receiver. Just wondering if there's any better ideas out there.

Thanks.

Yeah, that's what I've seen. I'm torn between that and a picatinny offset socket, just ahead of the rear site.

The PMM is the best placement, but I can't shake the feeling that it might put too much leverage on that tab.

Part of me is thinking about drilling and tapping to install an m-lok socket to the new rear plate.

The cable of a Blue Force Gear Uloop fits perfectly through the small factory sling loops.  https://www.blueforcegear.com/uloop

I use one of those on the front, and a QD swivel on the Tailhook for the rear, because I only fold the Tailhook for storage/transport.  Works great with a 2-point sling, like the BFG VCAS.

You could use a second Uloop on the rear factory sling loop too, if you want to be able to sling it with a stock folded (or removed), as seen on the BFG website:

Or just put one U-Loop on only the rear factory sling loop, if you want to use a one-point sling.

Pmm qd mount, and a single point sling. I’ve run it through it’s paces and it’s held up beautifully.
Typically I don’t like single point slings. but the scorpion is short enough and light enough that it doesn’t really get in the way or bounce around

Paracord loops and BFG vcas sling. One day I’ll replace the paracord with bfg uloops.

I really like the basic Israeli sling. It comes with cordage that works great with the factory loops.
