I plan to build a 9mm SBR.
Have stripped lower and standard lower parts kit. Plan is to use CTR stock and the ADCO RRA/DD 7" upper. Question - what other parts do I need to make this work out? I believe I need the ramped bolt and a mag well adapter? What else do I need to know? Thanks. |

You can ramp the bolt it is the preferred way, it will also allows you the standard hammer from your parts kit. if the bolt is not ramped you will need a 9mm hammer this is harder on the lower receiver but will work the buffer is also special for the 9mm AR the rest of it is pretty well standard AR Mine is built on a rock river 9mm lower to use uzi mags and a rock river upper with the ramped bolt I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. it is a lot of fun I do not know about your state but that 7inch barrel is a pain in the axx to get the permits for making it a short barrel rifle. to build a pistol is easier from a legal stand point in this state |

Adco knows what they're doing. Cmmg inc also makes a good ramped bcg. If you don't get a ramped bolt, you'll need the special 9mm hammer. Magwell adapter block: used a Hahn precision magwell block which has worked very well. Magazines: Brownells has metalform mags on sale currently, and the consensus is that those are the most reliable. Buffer: this was the trickiest part, I run a 5.5" suppressed and had to get the super heavy buffer in order to stop breaking bolt catches. Slash's heavy buffers makes a few options, what you get is dependent on barrel length and if its going to be suppressed or not. I started with a spikes T3 buffer and their 9mm spacer, but was still breaking bolt catches. Good luck on the build, I love my 9mm ar. |

I'll be running mine suppressed on a 4.25" barrel. Need to order a buffer. |

So are you saying RRA bolts are ramped and good to go? |

Cmmg, spikes, rra.......shouldnt be any diff so long as all ramped or not ramped. |
