Sure, I admit it, I am a PCC fan. But, I am missing a Ruger PC9. Was in LGS yesterday and someone had just brought one in. Nice condition, very nice. But, they had it tagged $550. Darn, if I had only knew he had it, I would have given him his $450 cash for it and saved him a lot of trouble. (This gun store will charge him 20% for making the sale for him.)

I want a PC9 to keep my Camp 9 and others company, but NOT for $550. My buddy who works there wanted to call the consignee and work out a deal for me at $450 or less but the owner was there and would have canned him on the spot for costing the shop $100.  Ah, so near yet so far. Well, someday......

Not a lot of Ruger love around here but I love my PC9.  I'd say 7 years ago I paid about 425.00 new.

I want a Ruger just because I collect 9mm carbines. Besides, its a Ruger and that means its built to last and last and last. I have also missed my chance at some of the .44 Mag carbines Ruger made. I have always like them also. I will keep an eye open. As much as I want one, the price has to be fair. I don't expect cheap, but it has to be fair.

The last one I saw here at the local gun show went for $700.00.

I love mine.

The .40s are much easier to come across than the 9mms (in my experience), but I had no interest in the .40.

Hope you find one!

I love my PC9 as well. I sure wouldn't part with it for $550.  My old eyes aren't what they used to be so I'm thinking about a decent low power scope for it.

If you have a gun you love, money doesn't matter. I already have six various 9mm  carbines: 2-AR's, and one each" Beretta Storm, Kel-Tec Sub9 (an orginal..not the new plastic Sub2000) and just for fun a HI-Point.. (Don't laugh or turn up your nose at that one...they work!).

I almost jumped on that PC9 for their price but.....I have passed on several for $100 less. Guess I should have picked up on one sooner.

Mine (early model Police Carbine) has a Primary Arms mini RDS on it.

That's insane! But in today's crazy market I guess anything is possible! I was in a major gun shop a couple of days ago to pick up a new CZ75. (special model with the Omega trigger, the real factory installed Trilium night sights, three 16 round magazines and a deluxe case, for $530 plus tax. Anyway, while waiting in line....I heard a guy on the phone looking at an AR that had just gone up $200 over retail. He was telling the person on the other end he had money and was buying one and didn't care what it cost! Well, that isn't me....not on my budget!.  I have a nice collection and am happy with what I have. The Ruger would have been nice, and maybe even worth what they were asking, but I have my budget. I have five PCC's now, one more or less won't kill me. But you are right.. maybe I should have taken it when I had the chance. My low opinion of that dealership didn't help any.

I'm kicking myself for not buying one in .40 before the panic jacked the prices through the roof. I'm still actively searching for one but I'm sure as hell not paying more than 8 bills. I've known a couple guys who have them and they are all happy with them.

Just showed this to the much better half and told her one just like it is in my safe.  She did NOT ask me to sell it!

I've been surfing other forums lately, and it seems that the PC9/4 has reached it's tipping point in collectibility.
