I really want one myself, but for the money, it is tough to justify. They have a couple on Gunbroker right now for about $1100.00, but the bidding is still going on. Seems like normal price is around $1500.00.

Try here, they usually have one in stock when I stop by. Good folks to deal with too.

I don't know my picture links never seem to work, but here is a link to my flickr page.  I am in the process of making an add-on to my GSG 5PK that will give it the appearance of a vector.

I'd love a vector but they're way too expensive right now.

Check the EE. There's one for sale right now for only $1,350. You'll be hard pressed to find one that cheap:

I shot a civilian Kriss a while back, pretty sweet, but this past Saturday, I got to put a couple mags through a real-deal post sample SMG with a can.  That thing was just obnoxiously fun...

That looks pretty cool.  You obviously have more skill than me.  My ideas are mostly rendered as extremely poorly drawn hand sketches on the walls of public restrooms.

Dang.......!  My SBR Kriss came in, but didn't have a threaded barrel....  I'm waiting to hear back from Buds Gun shop.  In the case I keep it, anyone know if i can have it threaded by a Competent smith?

Thanks,

Bad thing is that the barrel is pressed into the trunion.  If you don't wanna drill/cut/beat it out and back in again, you would need a pretty big lathe pass-through to fit it in there, and most gunsmiths don't have one that big.  Adco may be able to take care of you.

Also, if the Kriss receiver/trunion is serialzied, Bud's can't swap it out quickly because your Form 4 is for that specific serial number, so you'll be better off getting it threaded...

Dang, that's what I thought.  I saw the process on "Red Jacket" they had to heat up the trunion to remove the barrel.  I am still waiting to hear back from Buds, just wanted to start checking my options...

Give Adco a call and see if they can do it without having to take the barrel out...

I'm sure you could send it to Kriss and have them swap it for you if you wanted to pay for it.   Was Bud's advertising a threaded barrel?  If so it should be on their dime.

Fortunately I took a screen capture of their website at the time of purchase.

The product info stated: “ Super V Vector SBR/SO .45 ACP 5.5 inch threaded Barrel Folding Stock Black 13 Round – All NFA Rules Apply”

I spoke to them earlier and they are looking into it and mentioned they may have to issue a credit….  I’d rather wait a few months more for the correct one.

Sweet!  Bud's is looking for a replacement Kriss.

FYI

I called Kriss just to check my options, they would charge about $250 to swap the barrel and trunion.

If Bud's gets you a new one, will you have to wait for a new Form4 to go through, or can you send in a serial number correction?

New Form 3.  I didn't start my Form 4 yet, per Bud's terms.  I may have to wait a bit longer, but I'd rather wait.

Ok, here is the latest.

I received an email this morning stating that they are offering to refund me upon inspection on the weapon, because:

"As we do not have the correct item to ship you".

What the Heck.......  Should I just keep the dang non-threaded SBR or send it back?  I paid them in full back in July......

That's abunch or crap. They clearly advertised it as having a threaded barrel. If I couldn't run my suppressor on it I wouldn't want it. Them refunding your money after all this time is a cop out on their part.

Agree, but in light of recent events.. It made more sense to me to keep and send it back to Kriss vs waiting for a credit and then pay more, seeing the rate of price increases over the past couple of weeks.

Thanks for the feed back and support!

Yup id keep the non threaded ond then send off to kriss for new barrel trunnion be waay less hassle.

My local shop just got 11 vectors, so i told them to put one aside for me, they feel awesome!

I love the design and tech behind them. We broke one down and its crazy cool.

My only minor gripe is that he grip geometry is a little odd near the web, after shooting the SMG post sample at my SOT, I had a tender spot on my base thumb knuckle.  With the usual high handgun grip, instead of it sitting in the web of your hand, the flat surface above the grip is sitting right on your thumb knuckle.

I would love to grab one of the pistols before any sort of ban. If I could grab it from a dealer in VA who got it directly from kriss even better. If the Wyoming suit ever shakes out I could create a SMG since it would have never entered interstate commerce.
