I handled the Circuit Judge today at the fun store.  I am pleasantly surpristed at the light weight of this carbine and the way it naturally comes to a point of aim when I shoulder.it.  The counter man told me it kicked very little, of which I am dubious of since it is chambered for .45 Long Colt.  A currentl owner was standing near by telling me about the issue of removing spent shell casings after firing due to the location of the stock and the cylinnder when it opened.  I did not like the price of $500 plus on this weapon.  Maybe when it goes south of $350 I will consider.  I now possess one more guns to buy in my fantasy line up.  Firearms in the fantasy line up or not always useful to me, but let us not confuse relative to usefullness with coolness.

I wish Taurus/Rossi would stop dicking around and make that carbine for 454 Casull or even 460 S&W.  Seems to me those hotter rounds would make the Circuit Judge a very useful firearm to have around the farm.  That and a larger capacity cylinder would make the Circuit Judge a real winner.

I'm still contemplating getting a SS version if the price is under $400.
