I was surprised to see this on the Browning website, BLR takedown Scout with rails and a flash suppressor!

That 308 would make a nice elk gun.

So at $1600 list what does that work out to on the street -$1300?

I guess for someone in my state or some other ban state that didn't fo when they had a chance it presents a option but it isn't something
I get too excited about (and I like lever guns)

I suspect since I already have 22lr , 38/357 , 44 , 30-30 and 45/70 I don't really feel the need for 223 .

The browning has a removable magazine , correct? there is that

Cool concept, but that is one funky looking gun.

Funny, years ago a good buddy of mine tried to get Lew Bonitz to do that with the addition of LPA ghost ring sights to either a BLR or a Winchester 1895 (Lew's choice) with no success.

I like the .308, but I would prefer a stainless barrel.
The .223, if it took mini-14 magazines it would be interesting.

If wanted to get a little further out there, also offer it in 6.5 Grendel and even 7.62 x 39, and then stick an AK magazine in it!

If Browning put a .300 Whisper barrel on it, it would be a prime candidate for a sound suppressor / silencer.
