I have a Winchester model 94 AE in .44 mag that I would like to scope for the upcoming deer season.  I have had a Williams receiver sight on it, but my eyes are not as good as they used to be.  The gun is factory drilled and tapped for mounts, but I have heard mixed reviews of some of the available mounts.  I just want to know what the best quality set is so I don't have to mess with them too much.  Looking at a 3-9X40 Vortex to top it with.  Anyway any input would be appreciated.  Thanks!

I have a scope on a 94AE .30-30 .  Think they are Weaver ?  I am guessing the mounts are all the same among calibers ?

God bless

The Leupold mounts are better than any others I've tried.
