[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Secure long gun wall mount

I don't know what the buzz word is for these. But I'm talking about a clamp of sorts that doesn't enclose a long gun, but locks it to the wall until the code is entered. I see Hornady Security makes one, and also Shotlock. Gunvault made one 20 years ago that fit an 870, but they've been out of production a long time.
Anybody have experience with these? Anyone had a gun stolen or attempted to get stolen from one? Who is considered the top tier manufacturer?

Tagging for same interest.

I've been thinking about the same thing. Moving to rural mountain top home and would like something handy in case of wild animal encounters on property, but still safe around kiddos.

Tufloc. We used them at The Basic School. I have one I bought, I think it was less than $200. Lag bolted in my closet. Probably just as secure as a safe, as far as smash and grab goes.

Thanks. I agree. For home use, it looks to me like the $200 Tufloc would fit the bill nicely.
