I purchased this REO Link 4 camera, 8 channel system. I want to put it in a small closet that is a little over three feet wide and three feet deep.

Without venting, will heat buildup become an issue? Is this something that I can just mount in the top part of the closet and not have to worry about burning my house down or something?

How much venting does an NVR need?

I have my DVR in a desk drawer. Been there for years.

3' x 3' closet, you'll be fine. Mine is stored in a closet in the spare bedroom. It won't be a problem.

just a heads up that NVR makes a lot of noise. The fan is very loud.
