We're doing a face lift on our home and with that, thinking of converting all of our surface mounted camera's (eves) to recessed mounted.
Wondering if anyone has feedback (good or bad) on recessed mounted setups.

What do you think is the benefit? Just looking better?
I think it's an expensive option, that doesn't hold any actual benefits at all. It's possible it might blend the cameras in better, but anyone looking will still know there is a camera.

Yes, mostly cosmetics.
My wife likes having the cameras but isn't a huge fan of the "warts" they look like on the house.
I tend to agree.
I can convert for about $50/ea. but mostly don't want to comprimise performance.
