Any experience with this brand from Home Depot?
linky Main concern is keeping rifles and hand guns away from kiddos. Everything is insured and there are no hierloom pieces. So theft would suck but not my main concern. Price and size seem very good from the limited research I've done. |

My minimum standard for keeping kids away from guns is a UL rated lock. The safe you linked appears to use something else. Without the UL rating, there may be simple ways to bypass the lock without your knowledge. You wouldn't want your kids or their friends using Youtube videos to get in and out at their convenience.
