Two days ago I purchased an HD100 handgun safe for my night stand pistol. When I opened the box I noticed the LED light was not installed. I purchased the HD100 at Cabelas so I went back today and exchanged it for a new one, no big deal. When I came home I opened the safe and entered my own security combination and the light wouldn't turn on. I called Liberty Safe customer service and explained the problem and the representative was extremely helpful and professional. He agreed that the light should be coming on and apologized for the inconvenience. He stated he would normally send me a shipping label and replace it right away but had no more HD100's in stock. Before I could say anything he started asking for my address and told me he would be sending me an HD200 as a replacement.

It's refreshing to have such a positive experience in today's world when only a handful of companies stand by their product. I just wanted to share my experience for anyone who is currently in the market for firearm storage/security.

Good to know as I have one of their safes.  I must admit, I think Liberty safes are pricey for what you get.  I'm glad that the price you pay includes excellent customer service.

I've had nothing but good experiences with the cs once you get past the 30 min wait on the phone.

I bought a Fatboy Jr back in Dec. I got a 100 under their promo deal. About 3 days and the battery goes dead. Been busy and haven't cheated/checked it yet but I suspect the light is staying on. If that's not my issue I will call Liberty cs.

I had an issue with some form of rust on the handles (black chrome finish).
My local dealer, where I purchased the safe, would not touch it.
However, one call to Liberty CS and a new set of handles was on its way.

I had a safe damaged by the hauling company. Liberty said use it until the new one gets there. They sent me a free desicant pack. One of those you plug in to dry it out and re-use.
Had to send pics of damage.  They kept me updated the whole time with shipping times and emails from the lady handling my problem.
I bought mine from Cabelas and Cabelas didn't do shit when I called them. No sorry heres a gift card or anything. Just call Liberty were just the middleman.
