I have a pistol box with a simplex lock.  I purchased it used from EBay.  I have had it a few years.  I am having a complete brain fart on the combo.  There is no serial number on the box.  I have never changed the code sequence, and I doubt the original owner changed it either.  Is there a hack to get into one of these boxes, or is there a master code used by V-line on boxes as they leave the factory?  If this is an inappropriate query, pm me the answer, and I won't share it on an open forum.  I can't imagine it is too big of a deal, as I am 100% certain this box can be cracked with a screwdriver prying on it.  It is not a high security box, but to keep little hands away from the contents.

If it hasn't been changed from the factory default, if you're looking at the buttons as 1-2-3-4-5, press 2 & 4 at the same time, then 3.  Make sure the lock is cleared first.

Yup. It amazes me the number of these that never get reprogrammed

Got in, thanks.  Still can't figure out how my brain forgot the code.
