I would like to upgrade my safe interior to the mirrored backing that I have seen in some higher end AMSEC safes.

is there any direction that someone can point me in to find what they put behind there?

Thanks in advance.

Going out on a limb here, but i assume it is a mirror.

I would call your local glaziers and ask if the can cut a custom size mirror.  Undersize it enough so that you can use brackets to support, or attach with velcro or liquid adhesive, i'd guess.  Ive considered doing the same myself.

The Amsec mirror is plastic. Someone suggested a mirror intended for a kids bedroom. I would think you could break a glass one easy moving rifles in and out.

That makes sense.  I wonder if glaziers carry mirrored plastic that can be cut to size.  Also, as I thought about this more,  I wondered if it makes sense to have it cut into 2 halves, length-wise.  If you can conceal the seam behind where shelves meet, it would seem to make it much easier to get it in and out and get more coverage.

I did a quick look and found sheets of different sizes and even 12" tiles.

Lots of places come up with a search. I would use us plastics. I have bought other stuff from them. Fast service and good prices.

You could also try mirrored window film.
