How do you guys mount stuff to the interior of your safes?  I wanted to mount a light on the interior roof of my safe but wasn't sure if it would be okay to use screws.  I don't really want to drill into the drywall/fire protections stuff that is under the carpet.  I already tried double sides tape, it doesn't like the carpeting.  Any ideas?  If it helps I have a Winchester Pony.

If it's going to be more permanent, use a hot glue gun.

Sure, you can use screws. Use drywall screws being as the interior is drywall.

Actually, you can't. Drywall screws don't thread into the drywall, they thread into studs behind the drywall. Screw threads would just rip the gypsum right from the panel as soon as you put a load on it. It's the head of the screw and not the threads that keep the drywall from falling off your ceiling.

This right here! It has a magnetic back and can be repositioned instantly. Use Velcro if you need to.

here Op read this. I done mine like this under 40 bucks. The tape stuck to the carpet with no issues.
Good Luck.
