I have 2 110 plug ins inside, what is a good set up on the cheap?

you might consider one of those cheap round push on lights that run on batteries. sticky stuff on the back to hang them. i cant recall what they are actually called. would be good for a backup in case the power goes out.

I'm cheap too. I use a 12 ft. 50 light string of xmas lights. I have them strung along the inside front of my safe. I also have a puck led light that I can push on for more illumination. I found that light at Wally World.

Anyone have a cheaper setup. LOL

Costco just started carrying some 13 led motion sensing strips. They are $15 for a two pack and do a good job.

I've been thinking LED rope lighting would be a good way to go.

This. Works great. I have it going up one side, make a loop at the top, down the other, another loop under the shelf, and down the other side. If you want more light, just connect another string to the end of the first. I just used strips of velcro to hold it in place on the carpeted walls of the safe - can move it later if you want. Got an inline switch from Home Depot to turn on / off. Makes plenty of light to see what you're doing. I think the strand was $12 at Wal Mart or something like that.

Forgot to mention, they stay cool, unlike the under cabinet halogen lights that many people use.

Academy had LED rope lights on sale for 9.99 a while back. Can't remember the brand but it was in the safe accessory section. I picked up two because they were normally 29.99.

Apologize for the mess.

Heres the costco strips. They operate off 3 aas, motion activated, and turn themselves off after 20 seconds of inactivity. Even if I had an outlet in the safe I'd have a hard time rationalizing running wires all over when you can install this in less than a minute. I just screwed them into the lining of the safe and shelf.

I've found them here for $40 / pair. I'd like to find them for the $15 / pair you mention. I've got 110 to my safe, but I like the idea of these lights, and no wires.

Never did find the pair for $15 Costco deal, but I just ordered 4 of them from Amazon.
