 Holy crap! I was looking at the Barrett Gun Safes by AMSEC. They look good as far as I can tell...but I cannot find what steel they use in the door and sides. Anyway, looking at the price list published on their website...over $8k for a 7250! Is that right, or MSRP, and actual price is more like $3500.00? Shit! You're into "real" safe costs at that price.
Please let me know if that is accurate, or what an actual price might be if different. Thanks. |

The price you're seeing is probably MSRP, but I haven't looked it up. The safes are the same as the BF line, but badged with the Barrett name. They do have a slightly different interior.
You probably won't find it for half of the MSRP, 30% off would be a better guess. With something like this, you're paying for the BF safe, and then a premium for the Barrett name, and other goodies. |
