I don't know the quality but it looks like it's a decent system for a decent price. What are ARF's thoughts: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16881339007&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL081710&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL081710-_-EMC-081710-Index-_-VideoMonitoringKitsAllinOneSystems-_-81339007-L0C |

I would pass on this system, the cameras use CMOS technology, in the field we refer to it as " CANT MAKE OUT SHIT" . The recording frame rate is 30 fps at the lowest resolution, go anny higher and you will suffer with poor quality. I have seen quiute a few of these systems replaced not long after they were installed.
As far as putting in the safe, a DVR is just like any other computer it needs to breathe to stay cool. For what its worth i install security systems for a living. |

| Lorex makes a nice all in one system, they were having problems with the new cameras that came with the system. The cameras had a hard time showing the color green i believe it had to do with the IR cut filter. I know a number of folks that got the system and replaced the cameras. |
