I just got a 24 gun Cannon safe. I know, it's not the best, but I had to get it because of all of you guys on this site and Sig Forum. In Jan. my wife finaly went ballistic after noticing the growing number of evil black rifles and hand guns in the closet and in the pistol safes. I had to move my long guns and several pistols to the dept. until I could save the money for this thing. Today they come back home! This has been the only thing she has not gotten mad about me buying.

| I bought a Cannon 24 back in December and I'm extremely happy with it. I've got an 18" goldenrod in there and keep a tub of Damp Rid in there and haven't had any moisture problems. The only problem I'm having is the damn thing is full and I think it's time to buy a bigger one. |

The safe is a great way to stay in your wife's good graces.
The only problem is when you outgrow it in a couple of years. Then you have to either come up with some elaborate story or admit that you should have bought a bigger one the first time so that (one) new gun you just bought wouldn't have exceeded its capacity. "Gee, honey, I feel so dumb. I don't know why I didn't get a bigger one to start with."

The difference is that it's specifically made for TSC so they don't list it on their site (Cannon). |
i went to check today the cannon at TS and the model they have is TS-6040, and well, looks like the P40, but with the Cannon logo in front, not the patriot !! i may consider it as im looking also for another safe !! but i am looking for some other options for the same price...

Print that page of the flyer and take it to your local TSC store, you should get the safe for 599. |
| thanks for the tip and I got the cannon for $599. I think that was a great price for that safe... course it isn't up to the standards of the multi thousand dollar safes but pretty good construction for 600 bucks. Heck it even has an outlet pre-rigged up for inside so I can add a light and humidifier. All things said, it is a pretty good deal but I will definately be bolting it down to the foundation to make it more secure. |
