I have a closet that is pretty hidden. I have my gun cabinets (no safe due to size issue and shape of closet) bolted down to the wall and floor. The closet door has two deadbolts. I want to secure it a bit more just in case. I will be going with a either a solid wood or a metal door, and either the strikemaster 2 or the door jamb armour. My issue is that the door swings our and not in. So, my door hinges are exposed. There is not enough room in the closet with the gun cabinets to reverse the door so the hinges are in the inside of the closet.

I am thinking piano hinges down the full length of the door but I don't know if they will hold the weight of a solid wooden door. Any ideas or suggestions?

A piano hinge will hold a solid wood or metal door.

I would go with a metal door and yes a good piano hinge will support the door. Also i would spot weld the pin on the non-rotating end of the hinge.

Metal Door.

BTW, Have you taken steps to prevent someone just cutting through the drywall beside the door?
