[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Video Surveillance Systems

I am looking into getting a surveillance system. At least 5 cameras, wireless or wired/wireless, with computer monitoring available so I can access it from any computer.
Does anyone have any suggestions on which manufacturer is better than others? Or any suggestions on what I should be looking for?
I have been looking at them for about a year, not in depth just when I run to the store I will look at some and read up a little on them.

I don't have any of these yet, but I hear they are very good.

Speco intensifier

Not cheap, but good.

Speco makes a solid DVR, as well as cameras. I install a good number of them for work.
