I bought a 556R for my wife.  She loves the rifle and after putting a few hundred rounds through it, she's confident that it'll be just the ticket for our annual pig hunt next month.  Her only complaint is the trigger.

Long creep, mushy and unpredictable break and an almost imperceptible reset.

Is there an aftermarket trigger that will correct these problems?  My Google-Fu is weak.

ETA:  Now my Google-Fu is strong.  Found the trigger adjustment instructions in the sticky 551/552 Armorers Manual thread

There are probably replacement triggers available, but you can improve the one you have by adjusting that spring loaded screw that provides the artificial second stage. You can actually get a crisp release, although it has a lot of take-up on the first stage. This requires removing the pistol grip and playing with little, tiny metric wrenches.

I don't understand how SIG in the US could have screwed that up.
I bought a Swiss lower with Swiss trigger parts for my 556, and the trigger is awesome.
How SIG-US could screw that up and build a gun with no sense at all of trigger reset is beyond me.
I don't mind the rest, but not being able to feel or even hear the reset is crazy.

Shooting Sight makes a replacement trigger and hammer and a guy from Germany was selling a replacement spring kit on eBay. Combined they made a superb trigger.
