I have a gen 2 MPX that I bought this week. So far it is awesome but I'd like to enlarge the gas port to 0.050" as sig reduced the port to 0.045" from 0.055" on the gen1 and it won't cycle my 147 reloads that are scary quiet. I know of someone who had his sent his in three times before sig finally enlarged the port and fixed their issue. I just want to know how to remove the barrel from the mounting assembly. It appears that you need to tap out two pins but I can't get them to move and I don't want to hit too hard and ruin something. Could someone share a picture or give instructions on how to get to the barrel's gas port?
