Just took my MPX out for the first trip. I had about 10 failures to fire in about 100 rounds. All rounds were fired with a Eco 9. I was using 147 grain Speer and Fiocchi.  Hopefully this is a break in issue only.  the rounds were fine looking and did not have soft strikes. There was no fire my pin marks at all. I ran some WWB through it before and after unsupressed and they were fine. Wondering if the port needs to be opened up?

The gas port has nothing to do with firing pin strikes. Round will either fire or not with or without a supressor. Gas port would only effect maybe cycling issues.

Was the weapon thoroughly cleaned and inspected before shooting it for the first time. If there is no firing pin marks something is preventing the bolt from locking up and engaging the round properly.

Did you fire the 147 grain unsuppressed as well? Sound like hard primers or a trigger reset issue.

I did not try any unsupressed. Thinking back it was a trigger reset issue.  I stripped the gun apart last night and throughly cleaned it. I will try it again this week and see if the issue is resolved.

I did not clean it out of the box. I've never done more than gave a new gun a safety check.  Guess I'll be cleaning them as well from here out.

Sig coats everything with a protective sealant, not a lube, from the factory. Bet theres gunk in the firing pin channel. Strip it down, degrease and regrease.
