The last MPX thread was locked. Let's keep this one on topic and if anyone has good reliable information to pass along that would be great. Keep the jokes out of this thread.

Thank you.

I have not heard anything new, just all the rumors from before. I hope the MPX does not become Vaporware. I would still love to have one but I have ended up spending my MPX money on a 300 blkout YHM SBR build.
If they wait another 6-12 months I should be able to buy one. Its a slick gun

Seriously, 61 pages + a lock sorta speak for themself about MPX "updates". Your best update will be when the first ARFCOM'er takes a selfie of his purchase on his shag carpet with the requisite shoes/toes in the frame. I'm as excited to actually see one in the wild as the next guy but it falls into the don't hold your breath category for me.

I get the frustration and angst. But maybe, in the interest of the tech forums, we wait until there's another official announcement or online article to discuss with new information.

Cops66,

You are the only person on this large forum who seems to take Sig at their word on this.  Everybody else seems to be of the opinion that it will/might come out when it comes out.  As Larry Vickers is fond of saying "that's called a clue."

With all previous updates from sig being incorrect starting a thread asking for more updates is asking for more bs imo.

Unlike other industries, new guns face all sorts of obstacles to come to market.  Legal hula hoops, technical issues, material shortages, import restrictions, and government contracts all come together to make releasing new products INCREDIBLY difficult.

Best thing to do is just to think of new firearms products as vaporware until they are on dealers shelves.

I guess your right, but I figured they would know since they do work there, but I am catching on.
