Guys I need your help, I have had the worst luck. I won an SCM on GB back in Sept for $925 shipped. Turns out it was a early gun and stamped Sig 556 SCM, making it illegal in CT. This past week I wasted 3 days making a trade with a jerk, bending over backwards price/trade wise and 2 days after he agreed in writing, he backed out... I was going to trade a mint real Sig 225 with acces 2 mags, a Sig 232 LNIB with night sights, 3 mags and $300 cash. Guess a moral compass is hard to find these days. Now I am back to the drawing board. Does anyone have a reasonable lead?
thanks, |

Sorry, no leads for you, but for future reference in regards to the gun being stamped "Sig 556 SCM", I think you overlooked the fact that the stamp was actually with regards to the caliber and read "Sig 5.56 SCM". In fact, I'm 99% sure. |

Guys the first batch did have 556 in the name. Works in every state but CT. I just got my new one with a 551 forearm, rear HK style site, and a Sig case. I am VERY excited to trick it out and shoot it. I got it for $1300 too, but had to pay $150 for overnight shipping to get it the day of the ban. While I was at the shop (2 hours before the ban) I bought a Norinco 223 84s underfolder also... Guess once in a while, things work out. So I guess 20 Black rifles, and one Steyr SPP are all that I will own as long as I stay in CT.. It's probably for the best as I never finish my purchases, and just buy more.. This way my money can finish the 20 guns the way I want. I am think for the SCM
ACE stock or Magpul's new fixed stock Nikon M-223 1-4x scope of Vextor 1-4x Larue mount Send the upper out to get cut to 14.5" threaded and a battle comp installed MAYBE a Troy quad rail, but I hear the 551 stock is much lighter A folding front site and rear (any suggestions?) |
