Gentlemen:
Got a new Swiss lower from co gun sales. Upon inspection there seems to be an orangy color coating around the seams inside the lower. I'm afraid it's rust but it doesn't really look like rust. It is brighter and doesn't rub off easily. Color like the anti-seize goo that glock puts in its pistols. What is it? Anyone see this before?

Not sure what it is, but I noticed the exact same thing in mine.

That is the brazing where the trunnions and other parts were joined with the lower.  Totally normal and not rust.
