Whats a Sig 556 SWAT patrol worth used?  I have one and am thinking about thinning the herd of 5.56 rifles.  Less than1000 RSS through it, no accessories just the diopter  sights.

I just had my swat classic up for sale for $1150, realistically asking for $1050-$1100. Me being stuborn I didnt budge on price only to $1100 because there hard to find in stock now if you want the buy it now instant gratification feeling. Many people getting income tax checks so tons of tire kickers.

I ended up trading it to my good friend ($1050 trade he gave me) towards a stainless barrel ar15 varmint build and Im just tickled with happiness when shooting dime size groups (5-10 shot/100yards) and hitting clay's all day long at 550yards we have marked off. Dont get me worng I love and miss my sig just not my thing in life now being im more of an accuracy junky, already have a noveske to fill my SHTF gun.

Tough to get rid of them since the prices have come down so much - check out what a new one costs at Buds... Brand new Classic's are less than $1k now.

$900 tops. And I wouldn't even buy it at that price.

Trading might be your best bet.

Only problem with this price at buds or CDT is there never in stock for last 6-9months. When selling mine I had a ton of people try to tell me they can get it for $1050-$1075ish new and I always told them to just buy the new one and show me where to buy them in stock and Ill buy another new one myself.

I agree though you should try to trade it local ftf and do not go under $1000-$1050 firm until they start popping up in stock again. Income tax checks will be coming and this is a nice rifle for the money it will sell.

If someone knows where to find the new swiss stock revision swat classic or patrol swat please post the link. If the forum rules do not allow posting non site vendors then so be it.

The classic is a different gun altogether , full size handguards and different placement of gas block/ front sight. The 556P is more desirable as the SBR factor is cheaper than buying a 556 pistol. The classic has basic HG's while the swat P is a quad rail unit. Every listing i see for the 556P as NIB on GB or GA is over $1200+ S&H. other vendors list them but are back ordered, so a $1200 asking price used is not unreasonable.

This is what I did.  I would scour the EE for what I liked and IM/Email the sellers offering up my sig as a straight up trade or + cash depending on what the item was until someone agreed.
I was selling my NIB 556 pistol last year after they had dropped in price.  Even though I knew I wasnt going to get what I paid for it, I settled on a trade +cash towards a LNIB polytech double underfolder with original box and all original accessories.  I made out like a bandit, and Im more satisfied.
