I have a 556 that looks like it has the canted rail.  Is it a problem with the rail itself or the mounting system?  The reason I ask is because I am thinking about getting the Troy Battlerail.  And I'm wondering if it would be canted too, after installing.  Has anyone here fixed the canted rail themselves?

Is it the monolithic rail that attaches to the top of the receiver or the two piece that butts up to the receiver?

The Troy rail I'm looking at is the monolithic rail.

Do you have a side folder? If so, the TROY is lacking the stud to retain the stock when folded.  With that said, the TROY Micro sights are a perfect combo.

I read somewhere in a previous post  that the TROY rail also still allows removal of the gas tube for cleaning. My Samson does not.

Thanks for the info Lionhart.  I hadn't noticed the lack of the tab for the folding stock.

I believe the Samson has the tapped holes for that part. You would need to talk to Samson MFG. to see if they sell it separate. I love my Samson rail. I feel it gives the rifle a very refined but aggressive look and feel.
