Just ordered a custom flash hider specifically made for the Sig 556.
The stated benefit over other offerings include a taper that matches the 556 barrel, and (most important to me) is also designed to provide a proper fit for a SIG bayonet. Just like on my 14.5" barreled Mforgery, mounted bayonets attach midway down the stock 556 flash hider, which is a smaller diameter than is optimal. Wobbles like hell. These, however, are made to be wider where needed.
