I am in the process of filling out the paperwork for the 01 FFL. I just have a few questions for you guys who have done it.
I have checked with my county on zoning, and good to go there. I am able to obtain a business license, and meet all other requirements. My question is. Do I need to have my EIN, Business License, Zoning paperwork, Business name, ect all prior to submitting the application. The way I read it you have 30 days after you have been approved to make it all legal. So if that is the case do I put the business name I plan on registering on the application or just do it all under my name? Thanks. |

Since I'm doing it under an LLC do I need to wait for that paperwork to come back from the state, or can I go ahead and list my business name on the FFl and send it off also? you won't hear from the ATF for about 60 days, so if your LLC paperwork started now, it will be done by the time your interview takes place. just list business name on the app and send it out. just make sure your llc/business name is available before hand. |
