i just got a glock 17 today and opened the box and the little envelope that holds the 2 spent shells was ripped. i called the vender and their were like "yeah and".
can i even sell this like that? i know some states require it sealed like ma and ny but i dont know if there are other states that do. i know if i was a customer i wouldnt want the one with a ripped open packet. thoughts? |

Two guesses what the vendor was telling his coworkers after you hung up.
Does PA require you to keep the spent casing? If not, what the heck are you worrying about? If yes, use scotch tape. |

I think only MD and maybe IL requires the spent shell. So, you have 48 other states to sell your just acquired gun to...

pa doesnt require it. but some states do, what if i sell it on GB? i just think if it was like that, i would ask for another one if i was the customer. |

They didn't build the gun, or do the test firing, or package it, it's not the distributors problem. true but they sold it to me. just because they are wholesale i wouldnt think that relieves them of any responsibility to their customer (me). in all my years of retail manag. experience, if i sell you something and there is a problem, its now my problem. as i am part of the chain now. |
