Looking to start a home based FFL and will need to get a safe.

Do you have a separate safe for your personal guns?  If so, why?

Or should I just get a big safe and mark "business" and "personal"?

Or.....

Thanks in advance!

I keep my personal guns separate from my business guns. Two safes located in different rooms would be the way to go your case.

I finally broke down and purchased some "personal firearms" tags from Brownells.

You can get a routine compliance inspection no more than once per calendar year.  Unless you're a very busy location, or one with a history of problems or suspicious activity, it's more likely to be every 3 to 5 years.

Three in four years of operation, our last one was this past February.  Some things about being close to 244 Needy Road just stink.
