I am an 07. I received my lowers on a variance this year (2012), although I was still an 07 for part of 2011.
In 2011, I assembled a few AR lowers, but zero complete firearms. I know I still need to file the report (cutting it close I know), but do I need to count the assembled lowers and mark them on the form as production? It seems I do, but I wanted to be sure. Production - Firearms manufactured during the Calendar Year, to include separate frames or receivers, actions or barreled actions, disposed of in commerce.

| just had my home visit for my 07 and my inspector told me that I would have to file a report yearly even if i don't sell any weapons...But she made it sound like they didn't have to be reported unless they were sold..I'll dig out my notes tomorrow to double check though. |

An 07 reports firearms they manufactured, not firearms they have sold.
Even if you manufacture no firearms during the year, you file a report listing zero firearms manufactured. Dealers (Type 01/02) only report number of firearms transacted on their renewal applications - so every three years. |
