| Lets say person #1 has a manufacturers license, and he gets a stripped lower from another manufacturer with their info on it. If person #1 purchases a "kit" to complete the assembly into a working firearm, does it need to be marked again by the assembler? |

IANAL, but from what I have read and understand:
#1 buys a lower from #2 and uses that lower to make a complete firearm for sale if the lower has #2's info, #1 will have to add markings as the manufacturer of the firearm if the lower is made by #2 on a marking variance and has #1's info on it, no additional marking is needed. Again, this is as far as I know. Bubbles will likely be quite well informed on this. |
